A 13,9ha land parcel located outside in Springs. The Springs Precinct has been earmarked for PGM-related manufacturing, including components of the hydrogen economy such as fuel cells, as well as capital equipment manufacturing. To date, OR Tambo SEZ has secured 7 preliminary investors, with the anchor investor already allocated a site and having completed their Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). A deal market has been appointed to support the Springs Precinct, assisting in securing additional investments and strengthening the overall project pipeline.  

This 45 000sq.m. development has secured both EIA and Township Establishment approval, the review of detailed bulk designs and land rehabilitation on this green field development are in progress.
