The ORTIA Precinct 2 is a 29ha land parcel with a projected GLA of 265 000 sq.m. Competitively Located just outside OR Tambo International Airport and accessed off Atlas Road in Kempton Park, this SEZ land parcel2 has been designated for industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electronics, agro-processing, and mineral beneficiation. While the land is being prepared, OR Tambo SEZ has been engaging with potential investors to attract suitable projects to the zone. To date, OR Tambo SEZ has developed a preliminary list of 15 investors who have expressed interest in locating their operations in Precinct 2. 

The project is currently in the construction phase. The site was handed over on 24 February 2025, and practical completion is anticipated by 30 July 2027
