Biography

She runs her own consulting company, advising clients on commercial law, corporate governance, administrative law and compliance related matters. She is also an expert in the negotiation, drafting and vetting of agreements.

A member of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA) with certified director designation, Ms Kutumela presently serves as:

– a Non-Executive Director at the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors;
– a Member of the Appeals Board of the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport; and
– Chairperson of the National Home Builders Registration Council Disciplinary Committee.

She is a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce, LLB and LLM from the University of Witwatersrand (‘Wits’). She further holds Certificates in Advanced Company Law, Risk, Compliance and Governance, Competition Law and Advanced Administrative Law, also from Wits.
